Mindful Mondays:

Stress typically isn’t a hard thing to find in our modern day world. It’s an ever present part of our high octane existence. Limiting how much we have or take on has a direct relationship to our overall demeanor. Borrowing trouble or worrying about something, which has yet to happen, is a surefire way to increase stress. Writing our own internal fictional narrative is an egregious waste of our time. In doing so, we steal from ourself. Not only is it a stress inducing endeavor, it takes us out of the present moment and life passes us by. Once we catch ourselves immersed in a fictional future of our own creation, that’s when we can remind ourselves we’re missing the here and now.
